Postwar growth turned East Northport's farmland into the Capes, ranches, high ranches and Colonials that fill its streets today, many built in the 1950s and 1960s. Houses of that vintage have usually been through a gutter replacement or two, and the older runs are often sectional, with joints that drip and hangers pulling out of tired fascia. Street trees planted when these neighborhoods were new now shade the roofs and drop a steady supply of leaves. The ground rises and falls in parts of the hamlet, so on some lots leader water flows back toward the house or down the driveway. Replacing leaky gutters and directing water properly can fix a lot of damp-basement complaints.
Longtime residents still talk about Larkfield to the north and Clay Pitts to the south, the two older communities that grew into East Northport. Larkfield Road is the main north-south street, while Pulaski Road, Clay Pitts Road, Laurel Road, Vernon Valley Road and Bellerose Avenue carry local traffic. The LIRR station here opened in 1873, and a small town green on Larkfield Road marks the former Northport Traction trolley stop. Part of the Town of Huntington, the hamlet borders Northport, Commack and Elwood. From Vernon Valley Road to Bellerose Avenue, we replace and service gutters on homes throughout East Northport.
In East Northport, full gutter replacement is common: we remove aging sectional gutters and fabricate seamless Alcoa aluminum runs on site, often with fascia board replacement and aluminum trim-coil capping. Alcoa Leaf Relief is a good fit for the mature trees along these streets. Where leaders empty onto sloped ground or near the foundation, hand-dug drainage to leach basins or extension tails keeps water away without damaging lawns.

If your gutters are older sectional runs, replacing them with seamless gutters fabricated on site removes most of the joints where leaks start. We also offer repairs when that makes more sense. New installations include our 25-year warranty on materials and labor, and estimates are free.
Yes. On many older East Northport homes, years of overflow have damaged the fascia. We replace rotted fascia board and can cap it with aluminum trim coil so it stays protected. That gives new gutters a solid surface to attach to.

We recommend and install Alcoa Leaf Relief, an all-aluminum guard, and we are a certified Leaf Relief contractor. It keeps leaves out while letting rain through. We advise against plastic and vinyl guards, which can warp and crack over time.
